Live roulette at a crypto casino is not the casino's own game. It is a table in a studio, rented by the casino and streamed to you. Knowing which studio runs it tells you more than the casino's name does.
Live roulette is the part of a crypto casino that the casino does not make. When you open a live roulette table, you are looking at a studio run by a supplier, most often Evolution, with a real dealer, a real wheel and cameras. The casino rents the stream, takes your bet in crypto and pays you. That is why the same Lightning Roulette table can appear at a dozen casinos: it is literally the same table.
Which studios the crypto roulette casinos use

Evolution appears at ten of the eleven. It runs the largest catalogue of live roulette in the industry, so if a casino carries Evolution, it carries most of the famous tables. Pragmatic Play Live is the other big name, with its own Mega Roulette and Speed Roulette. The smaller studios add tables in other languages and with different limits.
The kinds of live table you will see
European roulette. One zero, 37 pockets, 35 to 1 on a number, 2.70% house edge. The standard.
French roulette. The same wheel, with the “la partage” rule: when zero comes up, even-money bets (red, black, odd, even, high, low) lose only half. That halves the house edge on those bets to 1.35%, the best value at the table.
Lightning Roulette. Evolution's best-known table. Each round, one to five numbers are struck by “lightning” and get a multiplier from 50 to 500 times. To pay for that, ordinary straight-up wins pay 29 to 1 instead of 35 to 1. The published return is around 97.10%, a little below a standard table, with much bigger swings.
Speed and Auto Roulette. Shorter betting windows and more spins per hour. Same edge per bet, but more bets per hour means you pay that edge more often.
Immersive and VIP tables. More cameras and slow-motion replays, or higher limits. The maths is the same as the European table underneath.
American roulette. 0 and 00, 38 pockets, 5.26% house edge. It appears in some live lobbies. If a single-zero table is on offer at your stake, skip it.
Table limits
Every live table prints its minimum and maximum in the info panel, in the casino's display currency. Standard tables often start at around 0.10 to 1 unit per bet and go to several thousand; VIP tables start higher. Check two numbers before you sit down: the minimum on the bets you plan to make (inside bets often have lower limits than outside bets), and the maximum, if you play high. The casino's withdrawal cap still applies on top: winning big at a VIP table does not change how much you may withdraw in a week.
Live roulette versus software roulette
Live roulette is slower. A typical table runs around 40 to 60 spins an hour, where software roulette can run several hundred if you click fast. At the same stake and the same 2.70% edge, that gap alone makes live play far cheaper per hour. You also see the ball land. Decide your stake and your stop before the first round, not during it. Live roulette is social and unhurried, and it is easy to stay far longer than planned.
